Judicial Watch files ethics complaint against Chris Dodd

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that tracks and prosecutes government corruption, filed a formal ethics complaint against Senator Chris Dodd on April 24. The complaint claims that Dodd assisted a longtime friend & associate in order to obtain a reduced sentence, and ultimately a full presidential pardon from President Clinton for tax and securities crimes, in exchange for gifts, which included a sweetheart mortgage deal that he failed to provide full disclosure on in his Senate Financial Disclosure forms.

Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch President, stated, "...To put it mildly, this type of behavior clearly does not reflect well on the United States Senate." To put it less mildly, if proven to be true, Chris Dodd is a criminal. Peter Schiff for Senate, anyone?
